What's your favorite track on the album? Why?
"A Chapter A Day", "Phat Beat", "Phat Delivery", and "A Message That Leads To Christ"
When did you first wanna be an emcee and why?
I grew up in my culture (hip-hop). I've been through all the stages of bein' a B-Boy, a Deejay (not a good one), and I'm still an artist....but I guess God led me to emceeing when I was nearly 16...but I got serious around 17. It's been a while....I can barely remember the first groups I was in! (Quest For Souls....Heheh)
Do you have anyone in your crew? If so, who?
That's to be announced. We are cleaning house right now!
Are you gonna be tourin' soon? When? Where?
I'm working on the next album this month and next (September & October). I'm touring with EDL in November, and I don't know the details, but I'll probably post the tour dates at locustfist.com when I get em.
What's your goal as an emcee?
To be honest.
Will you have any guests on ya next album? Who?
A lot..."2211", "Goldenchild...possibly "Drastic" and "Surreal" (Remnant Militia), "Tru", "Prophetics" .....and more to be announced.
Are you guest emceein' on any albums that are comin' out? Which one(s)?
I've done songs on "Nailed Promises" LP, P.O.D's, Urban Disciple's, and a whole mess of underground tapes that you'll never be able to get. I still haven't got some!
What do you feel God wants from us as a Christian Hip-Hop community right now?
Sincere repentance.....and unity.
What can we as a Christian Hip-Hop community do to promote Holy Hip-Hop?
Repent sincerely....and unify
What do you feel about artists like Kirk Franklin gettin' mad love and radioplay from the secular industry? Do you think it will help Holy Hip-Hop?
Heck Yeah!!..Like I said, it doesn't matter if I like somebody elses music, it matters if they are sincere and devout in what their message is. I just wish that the industry would understand that people like myself, and all others comin' from "the underground" of Hip-Hop are not called to write that type of music. But we still deserve our chance on the radio and the big stages.
